Melamine foam was initially manufactured in Germany by BASF under the name "Basotect" and used as an fire/acoustic insulator. But when moistened, material becomes just like micro-fine abrasive, allowing it to loosen even the toughest dirt and grime.

Works on various surfaces: leather, wood, glass, ceramic, plastic, painted surfaces.
Rub gently, slightly moistened. Can be washed in warm water and reused many times.
Microabrasive - not recommended for high-gloss surfaces.
